![]() ![]() Overall I enjoyed the humour, appreciated the sadness and seriousness but overall loved the romance. more tally on board with the 'flat whites' and 'rooting' references and the issue of drinking age, and that by itself initially sucked me into the story.I liked the way there wasn't a teacher/student in the sex department (despite the opportunity to put it there given an age difference) and that they had to learn their preferences as their relationship progressed.Even though Mark had a lot of maturing to do (and did), I liked that Deacon also had his own challenges to keep him slightly off balance.I don't 'get' the whole frat thing and frankly am glad I don't. It’s a slow burn historical cowboy daddy, with two people discovering daddy kink together. I also really enjoyed Looking for trouble by Misha Horne. It has one of my favorite fisting scenes. Review 2: I really loved this book.As an Aussie myself, I was to. One of my favorites for this is Mark Cooper versus America by Lisa Henry. ![]() So I stopped reading but I couldn't stop grinning like a kid on too much sugar. I was trying really hard to not laugh out loud and ended up snorting and believe me: it ain't pretty when I do that. Perfect if you want to read something light but with substance. ![]() Don't know if Australians really talk like, seemed more British but what do I know, that but it was fun nonetheless. And I just loved the humor and snark between Mark and the rest of America. I picked it because the blurb sounded ok and well I was sick of shifter stories. Review 1: I really loved this and I didn't think I would. ![]()
